6-A-SIDE Football League comes to Whaley Bridge’s own 3G pitch!

If you’re competitive and like your football, then why not get a team together , and join the new 6-a-Side Football league starting in Whaley Bridge , from 19th October. Play under floodlights on one of the best 3G surfaces in the country – Fieldturf’s ‘Revolution’ 40 mm artificial grass surface. With rubber infill and an artificial grass surface, it’s good on your knees, and good for your game.

SoccerSixes are starting a new 6-a-Side football league on the Whaley Bridge 3G surface on Monday evenings for 2 hours from 7.30pm. Begins 19th October.

Anyone can get a team together and enter. A referee is provided on the night to referee the matches.
Teams should be 18+, but 16, 17 yr olds can enter a team as long as one of their playing players is 18+.
Soccer Sixes are Football Association affiliated, and manage leagues all over the country.

A match fee of £26 is payable by each team on the night. There is no joining fee. Teams can cancel at any time with two weeks notice.

A flexible squad system is used – Teams may use as many players as they wish during the season, however only 9 players may be used on any one match night. Players may only play for ONE Team in the league. If your Team are short you have the right to use guest players from the league but this must be cleared by the oppositions Manager/Captain prior to kicking off your fixture.
