Summer Fun on the 3G

As the action on the pitches in Brazil intensifies,  Whaley Bridge’s own artificial grass all-weather pitch looks set to see lots of use this summer,  with the upcoming Whaley Bridge Village Games being held on the surface on Sunday 6th July. The village games are a spin-off from the Rose Queen Festival, run in conjunction with the Village Games officer at High Peak Borough Council, and are back this year following a highly successful launch last year. Free, from midday to mid afternoon. Turn up with astroturf trainers if you have them, or flat soled trainers if you havn’t. A great family event.
